Proud to contribute to regional economic development, Mrs. Descoteaux and Mr. Flébus founded in 2002, with the support of some precious collaborators and regional economic partners, the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario Foire gourmande aimed at promoting regional food products. This event rapidly becomes a major tourist attraction. In May 2006, it was honoured by the Grand Prix du tourisme québécois with a National Tourism Award, in the festival and tourism event (operating budget of less than $1 million) category.

In 2003, as part of the Second Edition of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario Foire gourmande, Bernard Flébus, Master Chocolatier, establishes a new Guinness Record by producing the world's largest chocolate bar at 4,653 kilos, made with milk chocolate. This new Guinness Record is made possible thanks to the cooperation of Barry Callebaut Canada.
